Charging Reactors

SorA Power charging reactors are custom-designed to charge the pulse forming network from the radar power supply. They are percent performance tested prior to delivery for inductance (or charging period), Q, and induced voltage. These high-quality products feature filtered liquid impregnation in welded cases with highly reliable soldered or brazed terminal bushings.

When provisions for power loss dissipation are required, SorA Power can incorporate radiation fins or liquid coolant heat exchangers.

SorA Power engineers have also designed charging reactors with a De-Q regulating low-voltage secondary winding. This provides for accurate control of charge on the pulse forming network on a pulse-to-pulse basis.
